I'm sure you've all noticed the new page footer... any good? Pro's/con's?
There's a few reasons behind it... firstly I saw something similar on another website and thought it looked cool!  but it also helps if you want to search for anything, share pages with others and quickly see the latest updates no matter what page you're viewing.
There's also the chat of course. Don't be afraid to click on any members listed there! The way it works: If you click my name 'Fireboat' for example it'll open a new window for you to write a message to me. Once you send that message I'll receive an alert and be asked if I want to read it or not.
What I'm also thinking of doing is arranging the odd evening (maybe once a month if it's successful) where everyone can join in with a massive collaborative chat!
Talk about anything you like (within reason!) with other members who are online too?... it's as close to an international Fireboat Funday/Evening as you can get without the travelling! :P
